"What if your network could manage itself? Discover how automation makes that possible".

Automating networks with OOP

In this masterclass, you will learn to discover dynamic coding techniques that can be applied to automate modern network environments. While network management used to be primarily manual work, we now use scripts to make networks scalable, secure, and manageable. This masterclass takes it a step further and shows how to avoid ‘throwaway code’ and create a dynamic codebase based on Object Oriented Programming design patterns. The practical examples illustrate in the OOP context how you can largely manage, adjust, and organize network equipment. Think of querying switch information, setting parameters, and doing this with various methods, such as using the Meraki dashboard API, paramiko (ssh), and/or Netconf.

This session is ideal for students who want to see how infrastructure, scripting, and automation can come together in a scalable way in modern IT environments, providing valuable knowledge for internships, graduation, or your first job. Ideal for students who are interested in both network management and programming.
